  I was recommended to see Dr. Stephen Lawrence last year when I asked my primary for a referral. I'm so glad she pointed me in his direction because he is an incredible doctor. He supported me when I requested to stay med free, offered natural solutions for bloating and gas pain and realistic advice for if my condition gets any worse. He also supported me when I flared badly and needed to be put back on meds. I feel that there are very few doctors out there who can support someone for their own beliefs, since I like to balance eastern and western medicine I've been shamed in the past by other doctors, so I truly believe that Dr. Lawrence is a gem.
  
  It is a challenge to get an appointment right away, you have to book in advance, but this is pretty standard for most GI docs in my (20+ years) experience. When I needed his help immediately I just asked his assistant to take a message, and I've done this a couple of times before, and I'd get a phone call back within a business day or two with solutions.
  
  I had a fantastic pediatric gastroenterologist and it took me nearly a decade to find somebody who I felt comfortable with and who worked with me about my care in such a supportive way. Highly recommend
