  We decided to give this place a try after getting the Valpak coupon and ended up being very disappointed. So shocked by all of the positive reviews. Our food was terrible, bland, and overpriced. The service was not good. The margaritas were extremely weak. For some reason we were charged full price for the margaritas even though it was $4 happy hour because of the 25% off coupon we used - you cannot use this coupon during happy hour (not stated on the coupon). I do not recommend La Morena - there are plenty of other good Mexican restaurants in the area to try.
